TeleBlend Reviews

TeleBlend is a residential VoIP phone service provider that provides broadband phone coverage in 85% of the United States. As a company, TeleBlend strives to deliver full-featured, low-cost, and plug-and-play service to consumers. Plus, with certain deals, you can even get internet as a part of the bargain.

How does TeleBlend work?

TeleBlend works with your existing broadband internet connection and in conjunction with an included TeleBlend adapter (the "Gizmo") to help you make and receive calls. Here is what you will need for TeleBlend service:

  • An existing broadband internet connection
  • A corded or cordless analog phone
  • A TeleBlend adapter (the "Gizmo")

 

TeleBlend offers a variety of plans. The Unlimited Calling plan is one of the cheapest on the market: only $15.95 a month for unlimited residential calls between the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada—and without a contract. The Unlimited Annual Plan offers the same features and calling, but requires a contract to lock in the lower price. Their Global Unlimited Plan runs a few dollars more per month but includes unlimited calling to 47 popular countries (it also requires a one-year contract). The Global Limited Plan, in contrast, offers 300 international minutes to 42 countries, but without a contract.

TeleBlend’s most cost-effective option is the High-Speed DSL with Phone Plan. This bundle has an upper price limit of $39.99 a month, significantly cheaper than similar broadband internet services, not to mention the included VoIP telephone service.

My service has been out since 12/07 and I have sent them many emails, service requests, and have tried to call them only to have their phone ring for more then 40 minutes with no answer at all times of the day during their claimed business hours STAY AWAY !!!

Joyce USA. They keep charging my credit card three mo. after I switched my phone number from them. I have to call the card co. and have it taken off. The only way to get the charge not to go on is to cancell my card whitch is a pain. Don't sing up for teleblend. They are not there. Just a bunch of jurks.

i was one of the sunrocket customers that moved seamlessly and effortlessly (as promised) to teleblend. i'm surprised at how many reviews are from others whose switch wasn't so smooth! i've never had a problem with them. but i'm a sucker for my daughter who started working for another company, so i've begun the transfer process... only i began having major second thoughts. so i called customer service today to see if there was a way to cancel the transfer... i got put thru to a CSR very quickly, and he was extremely helpful. so in MY experience, everything nearly about this company, from quality to customer service, has been excellent. the ONLY problem i had was that it took several weeks for the voicemail to switch over.

from July to December 6, 2007, this old sun rocket company, now using the SR service, Teleblend is my most consistant service as to clarity, voice mail, all features, online acct manager, carries tones into menus (i.e. banks etc)at all levels. Glad I have the service, at $19 per month.

I switched to Teleblend after the demise of Sun Rocket. Their customer service is non-existent and I was without service for almost 2 weeks! I then decided to switch to a much higher rated company and gave the authorization for my phone number to be ported over on August, 10, 2007. Teleblend refused to honor the request and insisted that they didn't have "possession" of my number and couldn't port it to my new provider. After 6 weeks of this, I opened a complaint with the FCC, which required Teleblend to respond within 45 days. Guess what? On day 45 my number was mysteriously ported to my new provider. In the mean time, they have been charging me for service I haven't been using for 3 months, because if I had canceled with them prior to the number porting, I would have lost my phone number. This company is all about holding your phone number hostage so that they can continue to charge you. The wait time for customer service is 30-45 minutes and they are not helpful. My last custy service wait was over an hour, then I got a live person who told me to please hold for a moment (which turned out to be another 20 minutes). Once she returned, she asked for my name and number, shich I provided, then she said she couldn't hear me and instructed me to call back! Stay away from these crooks!

Cheap, works with existing Sun Rocket Gizmo.

srvice went down when i was out of town on 11-12-07 still no dial tone was promised replacement gizmo it is now the 28th of nov still waiting

at first I was very skeptical about T. but decided to put one SR number with the Teleblend co. It has proved in the recent months Aug to Nov 07 to have been a good move. Now we know that T. is all the ol' sun rocket equipment and service, it is working very well, I have 3 providers to compare for a year, so far Teleblend handles calls, menus, voice mail and speed dialing the best. On line acct mgr is good too. clear. I am happy with the service, just hope they will stay afloat...

This is the absolute worst VOIP company out there. There service never works and when you report your problems, you are tol it will take up to 30 days to correct your problem. When you do call you can wait up to 2 hrs to talk to a representative which I was told by a supervisor is actually an excellent hold time. Finally, when you cancel your service andeven port to another provider, they conviently loose rcord of our cancellation and continue to bill you. So then you are forced to replace all credit cards you used to pay with.

I switched to TeleBlend when SunRocket called it quits. They were unable to provide me with service and I believe it was a result of all the previous Sun Rocket users switching to them. Since they could not provide me service I canceled. However, while they canceled my service they continued billing me for the service. I called, waited 15 minutes , only to be told that they would NOW cancel the service. I would not be refunded the money they charged me to date. If they rip you off like they did me contact your credit card company. Maybe this will help someone else from going with these turkeys.

I was a previous satisfied SunRocket customer who switched because they were one of the two that were recommended by SunRocket. What a disappointment. Like the other review for this company they took my money and gave nothing in return. They have no contact information on their website to call anyone, I open a trouble ticket 3 weeks later still nothing. Got a phone number from the bank statement. Call speak with a 'support tech' he put me on hold and never came back I called back twice, and both time they hung up on me. I then sent 3 email telling them I wanted to cancel the service never heard anything. After 3 weeks received an email saying service was canceled and if ? mailto:[email protected] or call 877-488-5519.Called 2 times sat for 30-45 minutes and no one ever answered. Sent an email and got an automated response that they will not response to the email and to open an another ticket on their website.
