Editorial Review
Previously known as Junction Networks, OnSIP provides real-time communication services to over 1000,000 customer accounts. OnSIP takes away the high fees, inflexibility, and burden associated with owning a traditional phone system and delivers solutions with businesses in mind. With more than 50+ phone system features, multiple configuration and integration options, and flexible payment options, OnSIP has carved its place in the VoIP industry as a trusted and innovative service provider.
Feature-Rich Phone Systems
OnSIP’s phone systems are packed with a range of features for businesses. These include basic functionalities (such as Auto Attendants, Voicemail-to-email, Groups, Find Me Anywhere, and ACD Queues) as well as advanced call center, collaboration, and admin features (such as Zendesk and Google Analytics Integration, Browser Phone App, and Intuitive Admin Portal). Plus, these features can be customized in real-time to accommodate a business’ changing needs.
Free Trial and Flexible Pricing Solutions
The best thing about OnSIP is that they make it easy for businesses to take advantage of their services through clear, simple, and flexible pricing. They offer two options: a Pay As You Go (Per Minute) Plan and an Unlimited (Per User) Plan. The Pay As You Go option is suitable for businesses that don’t make lots of calls and want to keep their costs low. The Per Seat Metered plan is great for teams with low to medium external calling, while the Per Seat Unlimited plan is best for teams with high phone usage. And if you’re not sure which plan to get, you can take OnSIP on a test drive with its 30-day free trial offer.
Good services for business. They were recommended and have lived up to expectations. We needed a provider that was flexible with services and could help us through the maze of VOIP.

OnSip has provided a lot of function for a reasonable price. The option of selecting the desired features for service is great, especially for a small business or start-up.
Great suite of options for a business to select the functions it truly needs. Much better than the pre-set bundles offered by the traditional phone companies.
Concerns about availability during power outages and storms. If wifi is out, phone is out.
The by-name director search is awful. For John Smith, the system spews "J-O-H-N-space-S-M-I-T-H". For all of the voice recognition and translation software, there has to be a better way - even if it's having the administrator say the name.
Also, the connection quality varies when using different conference call services. May reflect the specific conference call service or VOIP interaction on conference call lines in gneral, not necessarily OnSip itself.

I'm extremely impressed with OnSIP

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with OnSip. Their service levels from the simplest FREE VOIP for a single user to the fully hosted cloud are very cost competitive and I have found their online technical articles very useful. I would recommend OnSip to anyone without qualification. Call them up or email them your proposed solution and they will get back to you with a proposed method to implement it. OnSip is awesome!
The setup of my OnSip accounts has been very straightforward. I have a business and personal account and have had nothing but success with OnSip
I had one problem with failover one day and within 10 minutes they had configured a solution for me (fixing my configuration issue.) OnSip support has been extremely helpful from the simplest to the more complex problems I have face (yet there have been a total of 3 problems I faced in two years of service!)

Bringing our own SIP phones to the dance made perfect sense for us. We therefore pay only for usage without buried phone rental fees. Very pleased with their approach and their flexible administration tools.
Very flexible pricing and business model.
The ongoing cost sneaks up on you a bit, but I suppose that's how much your usage truly costs.

OnSIP is the best VOIP service out there!

I've moved 2 companies to OnSIP's service for a reason. They are hands down the best VoIP provider in terms of service, features, ease of use, and price. Their support is always helpful. Their service is reliable.
OnSIP has everything you need. Their admin login system makes configuration/management of the phone system super easy! Plus, their support is always fast & awesome!

Goodbye Google Voice!

I used to run my small business phone from a Google Voice number. Google Voice proved unreliable and led to some poor call quality. After porting and switching everything over to OnSip, I haven't had any call issues, and the call quality has been great.

Fantastic value, great offerings, just not enterprise-grade

OnSIP is a great value!
OnSIP is an incredible value. OnSIP provides a super powerful phone system with loads of features but it doesn't cost us an arm and a leg. We pay $300 for the dedicated T1 line, plus $100 monthly OnSIP service, plus applicable usage charges.
Is OnSIP enterprise-grade?
We have a dedicated T1 line just for OnSip, but still have horrible delays in conversations with clients. OnSip has been able to solve some of the problems (it's partly their upstream vendors or an AT&T conference system), but it's bad enough that we may need to find another telephony solution. Additionally, there was a phone outage quite a while ago, (over a year), but unlike some of our other vendors, OnSIP did a poor job of communicating back with us as to the nature of the outage, steps they were taking to correct, etc. All-things-considered, OnSIP may not be the best solution for a mission-critical enterprise use.

We've been using OnSIP across a couple of locations as well as on mobile devices to keep our small business in touch with each other and clients. The service has been reliable, customer service is extremely responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. The pay-for-what-you-use pricing structure is terrific. No need to pay a monthly fee for conference room or reception extensions that rarely get used - they're just included in your monthly fee.
I can't recommend OnSIP highly enough and look forward to implementing OnSIP across our other satellite offices.
Tons of features, very reliable, great customer service, easy to administer, great pricing.
Honestly can't think of any.

I have been using Onsip since 2010 and have been pleased from day one. I would definitely recommend Onsip to anyone considering using VOIP. I switched from a local phone provider and saved anywhere from $250 - $300 from what I had been paying. you won't be disappointed!
Customer service has always gone the extra mile. They really know their stuff

We decided to move to a VoIP provider this year to replace our legacy PBX. The change was mostly precipitated by the fact that our employees have been working from home a lot more over the last few years. Being able to take calls anywhere and transfer (while onsite at a client, whatever) is invaluable. In particular this makes it very easy for us to answer critical support calls 24x7 with ease as we can just add whomever is around into the tech support rotation.
OnSip gives us the ability to have an enterprise level PBX for a very low cost. I have already recommended them to several friends that also work in small companies.
Extremely cost effective. Minute billing with unlimited free users is *much* better than paying per month/user for a small company that does not use a lot of minutes but may have need of 10-15 accounts. The service has mostly worked flawlessly the 5 months we have been using it. Customer support has been great.
We have had a few very small outages that cleared up on their own (a few minutes here and there) that have no real explanation. I accept this as part of a cost effective service though.
OnSIP's two pricing plans are tailored to different business needs. With the Per Minute Plan, you only pay for a set of popular phone system features and the calls that you make. If you need to add on additional features, you simply pay for them on an a-la-carte basis. It's perfect for any small business that doesn't make many calls and wants to keep their costs low. With the Unlimited Plan, all of your standard area calls and standard features are covered by a low per person per month price.
The Rub
OnSIP provides your business with a Hosted PBX and variety of scalable models, specific to the type of business you run. The Pay As You Go plan includes a basic set of popular phone system features coupled with paying for calls on a per minute basis. The Unlimited Plan offers unlimited standard area calling + unlimited quantities of the included features all for a low per person per month price. Each service can be customized by a variety of pay-as-you-go calling features, like inbound phone numbers, and additional voicemail inboxes.
Bottom Line
When it comes to Business VoIP, OnSIP has two basic VoIP options: Pay As You Go or The Unlimited Plan. With Pay As You Go, you only pay for the features you need and the calls you make. It's perfect for any small business that doesn't make many calls and wants to keep their costs low. The Unlimited Plan option provides each seat with a voice mailbox, auto attendant, ring group, and much more at an affordable price. Both offer free on-net calling and come with an included number of features; check with each plan to see what you get. OnSIP also has Hosted VoIP and SIP Trunking solutions to help you make the most out of your IP PBX.
Awards
OnSIP wins the 2021 Excellence in Customer Service Award presented by Business Intelligence Group and has won for the past 3 years.
2017 Silver Stevie® Award in the New Product or Service of the Year - Software - Infrastructure or Platform as a Service (IaaS, PaaS) category in The 15th Annual American Business Awards.
2015 Bronze Stevie® Award for the Customer Service Team of the Year - Computer Software category at The American Business Awards Ceremony.
Our Two Cents
For Business VoIP, OnSIP gives you an affordable pricing structure with clear details as to what you're paying for up front. Their customers rave about the outstanding call quality and timely customer service.
This plan is perfect for businesses who use their phones heavily and have high usage. Great for companies in the insurance, tax consulting, auto, staffing, transportation, and financial service industries.
