Nextiva has changed business phone service for good; Nextiva's phone service combines high-quality service with incredible technical support — and you can keep your arms and your legs. One of the best in the business today, Nextiva delivers powerful communications capability with simplicity and ease of use.

Nextiva has two basic phone plans: Connect and Nextiva Office. Both have multiple scalable options: as you increase your calling capabilites (for instance, expanding from 1,000 minutes a month to unlimited minutes) your monthly flat rate increases. But that’s it: there aren’t setup fees or contracts (that is, unless you want one; like most other VoIP providers, Nextiva offers a discount to encourage you to sign a contract).

No matter what plan you choose, Nextiva will load your plan with useful features. Even Connect 100 (100 minutes for $8.95 a month) offers 10 virtual extensions, along with cell phone integration, follow me features, advanced voicemail features and more. Plus, Nextiva offers a wide variety of helpful customer support options — including US-based support.

Nextiva also offers efax and SIP trunking service.

I had high hopes for this VOIP after reading the great reviews. However, buyer beware!  Once you sign the contract the service quality immediately depreciates. 

 First of all, I could never get a hold of my original sales rep to place the order for my phones.  Due to his lack of support, I barely was able to set up my phones in time before the numbers were ported and mind you this takes 2-4 weeks.  Setting up the Polycom phones is very easy.  You can even find instructions online and do this without a tech.  Their level one techs are not bad.  Very pleasant for the most part and I did deal with many if not all of them. 

Tier 2 techs (for when you have major issues), good luck.  Just dont even bother waiting for them to contact you back.  They pushed my issue regarding a panasonic phone as "unfixable" and a problem with MY internet.  after 3 weeks of incredibly frustrating attempts to find someone at Nextiva willing to help, one special level one tech figured out the problem.  THEIR coding was wrong.  And it was such a small and minor fix to get this line working. 

After my second attempt and now pretty furious email, a supervisor finally contacted me to apologize for the issues.  (this is before the situation was resolved).  He assured me they would assist me and compensate me after the issue was resolved.  Now?  His email doesnt work, the sales reps email doesnt work, no replies from billing (just to get a copy of an invoice for phones ordered that they never forwarded to me), and no replies from the general [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected] email's. 

Seriously I have never NEVER dealt with a company so unorganized, and with such a large lack of respect for even just decent customer service.  If you are lucky and have no problems setting up, they are ok.  Otherwise, although they do not outsource, boy, they are no help. 

 

By the way, note that when they port your fax number, you WILL have down time.  You have to contact them when your fax number is ported so they can make changes.  And yes, they fail to tell you this beforehand.
 

Great sales team to get you hooked in, but they disappear immediately after you sign.
Tier TWO techs are impossible with the worst business customer service I can even imagine.

This service has been nearly perfect from the start. While Nextiva is the only voip company I have used for my office, I did shop around before choosing them. Their people seemed to be the most knowledgeable and that was my main reason for going with them. The price is much cheaper than most of the options out there. If you use them, I recommend trying the voicemail to email service. It's free and works on my iphone.

Talk about an all american Company that is hands on with their clients. No mickey mouse customer care service departments that cant speak english like the past Voip companies I was with...Nextiva does it right and they dont cut any corners. Ive been with them for a period of 3 years now and have had nothing but the best of quality. My staff is more than happy with them and so am I.
I have had experiance with 2 other Voip companies and it can be a nightmare. If anyone is deciding between picking the right Voip, let this review be your break point to chose Nextiva.

After being with several different VOIP companies throughout the years, I luckily discovered Nextiva and have been with for the past 2 years. Their system and service is really geared towards any small or large business. We have a customer service dept and sales dept all which run off Nextiva's system. I would HIGHLY recommend Nextiva to anyone looking for a reliable VOIP Company.

Great Customer Service and Support. Many features to take advantage of on their systems and an easy to use back end for admins.

The people I have dealt with over the phone at Nextiva have all been great and very helpful. Setting the system up was easy. After my initial setup call I have not had an urgent need for help and everything works well with the phone system. AT&T should take a page from their book. No contract and good pricing.

Installation was easy. I use Nextiva as the primary line for my company.

I first started with nextiva as a user of their fax service. After a few months of everything going well I signed up for their phone service as well. Not only have each of my interactions been positive but the actual service is terrific. My highest form of praise must be given and they deserve it. I had a person help me with the setup of my service and switching to nextiva was not difficult. I recommend them to each of my advertising clients and the other businesses I deal with.

My name is Casey and I have been very happy with the Nextiva phone plan. The price of the service is affordable and I've only kept my internet service with Time Warner. Since I work from home, Nextiva helps me organize my work phone calls from my personal. Great company. Couldn't be happier.

My two years worth of experience with Nextiva.com have been amazing. Owning and operating a call center is a never ending challenge with employees, results and management. Since I moved my VOIP service to NEXTIVA.COM, the set up and execution process has been stress free while always providing the best in quality and customer service. Their hands on approach gives them an advantage today since many of the larger companies that have decided to save money by using voice automated support and disregard the frustration and wasted hold time of potential and current clients.
I would strongly recommend the professional assistance of Zak as your personal account executive and the first class leadership of his sales manager, Dave for ensuring that my call center can fulfill its outbound and inbound telemarketing needs. I have never experienced a team of experts that return emails within minutes and diligently work to resolve all requests with a follow up courtesy call. There may be many choices and options available, but I prefer the mom and pop approach that NEXTIVA.COM offers and I will gladly refer their solid company for all VOIP business and personal needs.
