Jive is much more cumbersome than my previous VoIP. We have used several VoIP companies in the past and Jive is not easy to work with. I wish we didn't switch to them. Some of their sales promises were misleading. The setup team and support are unable to figure out simple issues for days and weeks at a time.

Pros Call reliability is fine.

Cons Features are confusing and cumbersome, and support can be painfully bad at times.

Jive was a breeze to set up. In the 6 months we've had Jive as our phone system, we haven't had any issues or outages. Much appreciated after having problems with previous providers using Voip.

If you work for a company that has any sort of multi-line phone network and you have ever wondered how it all works, this service does just that. It allows so much flexibility whether you are directing multiple phone numbers to one receptionist or if you need to make sure several agents only receive calls from specific lines of business. Other systems I have worked with require a complex combination of button presses and codes and sometimes that still doesn't work how you hope. With Jive, you get to lay out exactly how the calls are supposed to route and flow. You are given a blank window with lots of options. You can physically take the different buttons and place them and route them from one to the next. Each button generally has additional settings down to the way the caller ID shows up when coming in from a certain line, to the type of hold music they will hear while waiting for you to answer. I appreciate the flexibility for any office type that this will offer.

Call quality and available features are astounding. We have two lines and have them set up to work flawlessly for our business. The fax feature gave us some issues but overall great service. We went with a more basic type phone, we don't need video calling etc... I would certainly recommend them to anyone and everyone looking to go VOIP.

Pros Ease of use - Call Quality - Setup Super Easy - Customer Service is fantastic!

Cons Fax is a little difficult to get to work - No multi-line pricing, what you see is what you pay per phone.

Very easy changeover from T1 lines to VOIP. Customer service stepped us through all the steps required to get our 4 offices all online at the same time.

Pros Great service. Always works to get the problem solved.

Switched from 8x8 a few months and have never looked back. Breeze to get setup, and you even get a live person to help walk you through and explain how things work. It takes a little bit to get used to but your on boarding is very patience with you. Great bang for the buck

Being a new startup business we do not have a traditional phone line coming into our offices. Jive had the best solution for our needs. They have helped us to be a more professional sounding business when people call in or want to leave a message after hours.

Pros All done over the internet, no land lines.

Cons If the internet goes down, no phone.

Over the years that we have partnered with Jive we have seen a lot of improvements. Jive strives to have a easy to use cloud portal that caters to users of all skill level. The administration portal is easy to use and organized well. The partner portal has lots of resources to guide users in the use of the portal and how to configure or troubleshoot phones. Jive works hard to include feedback by running pilot groups and make improvements that matter to their customers. They are always very responsive to our issues and have been a great partner for us to work with.

Pros Portal is very easy to understand and administer.

Cons API integration with leading CRM solution ConnectWise is not completed

For us, Jive was the answer to the issues we'd been having with VoIP reliability from other providers. We went through a few different providers over the course of a few years and there always seemed to be some issue with our phone system. Since switching to Jive about 9 months ago we have had zero issues.

Pros Phone system just works, no need to be messing around with it all the time or calling customer service
