We have been using Jive as our VOIP provider for a couple years. Jive support is consistently fast & correct in each resolution. We have enjoyed the high level of support quality as well as the quality of the VOIP service itself. We highly recommend Jive as a VOIP provider, from the positive and patient responses of the support team to the crystal clear audio quality of the service, we could not be more satisfied. The quick turn around time for JIVE support has always made us confident that we choose a great VOIP provider. The resolutions given in response to a support ticket have always been clearly defined and appropriate to the issue. Phone call quality is superb, audio on both ends is crystal clear and reliable - never had a phone call dropped.
We should have switched to JIVE sooner than we did, but now that we have we will never switch back!

Get Jive overall has been great to work with, we have been using them for a year and half, and have had no issues with our service. We recently added Mobility so we can have softphone use on some of our computers where we do not have phone, this is new for us, so i will have to comment on that later.
Overall our experience with Get Jive has been great, 5 stars all the way

Price is great, quality is better than others I have tried. Just started using the Softphone, and so far it works great. Now just waiting on the Iphone app to come out, plan on using that as well. Customer and Tech Services have been great, and have gotten with me in a timley manner.
The only Con so far is with learning the Onjive, we tend to set it and leave it, so some of that is on our end, but when we have questions we go to the tutorials and they get us through the questions.

Overall, I am very pleased with Jive. I know that I made a good decision going with them. Right now I only have 1 user setup and that’s me. However, I have 2-3 more users that I will be adding. Call quality/sound quality is excellent. On occasion there may be a blip in the line. So if I say ABCDEFG you may notice a little blip but it’s not taking away from the call as in if you can’t understand what was said. It’s just obvious you’re not on a landline but for VOIP this is a very common issue. As my IT person said “Frankly, you’re never going to find a phone service that is 100% clear 100% of the time. There are too many variables outside of your or the phone providers control.” I agree with my IT person. Can we name one VOIP provider who’s got the best quality? You’re never really going to find one and I have tried lots of them over the last 2-3 months. I spent a lot of time just staying focused on sound quality and I can tell you from what I have learned a lot of your VOIP quality concerns really has to do with the stability of your own internet connection. Runs peed tests. Make sure you have acceptable download and upload speeds. My download is 55Mbps and my upload is a little over 5Mbs. Ensure you’re using a LAN connection not wireless internet. You will also have a lower download/upload speed with wireless intneret. Run a ping test and check the reply times using this command in the command prompt: ping ping.jiveip.com -t Also, ensure you have a good router that supports QOS. I guess geographically too, if you’re in a remote area where internet signals or weak that can also impact VOIP quality.

- Jive includes all their PBX features in their per user seat pricing (i.e. call recording, call queuing, call parking, call monitor/barge, etc.), so you don’t need to pay extra for anything. Jive gives you a complete solution with all their features and you just use what you want. - There are no setup fees, contracts, long term commitments, or hidden fees as I experienced with another provider. - No trunk lines needed so that means we won’t be getting busy signals if and when too many people call in at once. - The admin user interface is very clean and easy to use. It’s not complicated at all. I barely used their help pages or video tutorials. It was really that simple. - Dial plan editor is slick. It’s a drag & drop interface. You can build the simplest system or the most complex one or something in between. - Call recordings are sent to your Amazon Web Services account (brilliant idea Jive!) Another provider I used previously charged $49/month for this feature and that’s because of the amount of space it takes to store recordings. Jive was creative by integrating with Amazon Web Services.
- Calls remain parked for a limited amount of time. I talked with Jive tech support about this and they are working on increasing the duration for call parking. They indicated that call parking is a new feature they recently rolled out. - No call queue monitor to see who else is holding at a given time in a call queue. Vocalocity offers this feature showing the phone numbers of the callers holding and the maximum wait time. As I understand it, Jive is working on this feature… - Music on hold always start from the beginning. The music should stream continuously in the background so that when a caller is placed on hold the caller will always hear a different spot in the hold music vs. the beginning. This is especially useful for companies like myself who deploy on-hold marketing messages on the hold system. I want the callers to be able to hear something different each time they are on hold. Five9, another provider I used in the past can do this, but I don’t use them anymore. - Company directory…When the directory finds a match for a user, let’s say John Smith, the system will spell out the name of the user letter by letter instead of saying the name “John Smith”. Sadly, Vocalocity does the same thing. When the directory finds a user, it should use the user’s pre-recorded name instead of spelling it out letter by letter.

They've always been very helpful, really don't have to interact much because it works great all the time. Billing is simple and support great. The techies are very patient, considerate and help laypeople with any problems, no matter how "dumb" we are.

Saves money, reliable, comfortable, service is great
Could be more "non-techie" friendly for setting up functions, but staff is great to help. Don't get the cheapest phone, Polycom 320 is not easy to use

With 18 months of use under my belt, I am a very happy user of Jive Communications VoIP. The "follow me" service where I program my phone to ring on any other (cell) phone is a key advantage for clients to access me and not be a slave to my office or feel guilty for running to the bank in the middle of the afternoon. I'll be a client for many years to come .....

After 18 months of service, I have been a very happy client of Jive. The service is great. The only downside is you must have a strong (8mbg) internet speed. The added services of "follow me" has impressed my clients when they try to reach me after hours -- and they can. Service for tech support is wonderful.
Paying "extra" for a faster internet. Considering I am paying 50%+ less on phone than with AT&T. Not a show stopper.

Can't get a hold of my sales guy after the install after calling 10 times. Service outage for an entire day in 2012. Was promised 3 months free because of the outage. They never delivered. Service just went out again today for a half hour. More expensive than the alternatives.
I'm a busy business owner and I took the time to write this review because after looking at alternatives I feel like these reviews must be internal reviews from within OnJive. I don't believe they are 1 reviews.

Overall I find Jive to be a good solid company with a lot of great extra features. I know they are working to make their reporting have more features and I’m patiently waiting to use those changes. They kindly take ideas and are consistently working to develop their system to meet the needs of their customers.

Customer service is very prompt in emailing back and giving you a solution to whatever issue you have. They have a number of really great features at a very reasonable price point. They include call queues, efax, conference rooms and several others features that most other companies charge for separately. I have found that the call queues work very well. They have a lot of features within them that make them really helpful in our call center. The expandability of Jive is really great. We use it day to day for our small business and we use it for a major call center for disaster relief. We are able to add soft phones and hard phones relatively quickly when we need more. It is not hard to end a line/device either. Which is important.
NoneThe sound quality is really pretty good. We have had a couple of times people have complained about a bad connection, but that has been rare. We did have one day shortly after we joined in March that Jive went down for about 5-10 minutes, but we haven't seen any major problems since. Customer service is very slow to answer the phone. I don't think I have ever gotten someone when I call. I just wait in a queue until I grow impatient and hang up. If you leave a message they generally get back to you rather quickly. I have found emailing them is the quickest most efficient way to receive an answer.
