DLS Hosted PBX

DLS Hosted PBX offers a powerful, easy-to-use PBX engine for a very small service fee on top of that.

PBX Engine costs:

Class A: up to 30 seats for $195 a month
Class B: 31-150 seats for $270 a month
Class C: 151-500 seats for $550/month
Class D: 501+ seats, Custom pricing (safer for them and for you).

After that, hosted PBX service costs

$15/seat/month for unlimited calling.
$5/seat/month for unlimited inbound calling and 3 cents/minute outbound calling.

While DLS's PBX engine is expensive, the price gets better the more users you have ($6 a user for 30 users with a Class A PBX). DLS also compensates for the PBX Engine fee with rates that are 1/2 the price of other VoIP service providers.

You also get a bunch of features for free (including many of the most useful). I'm not sure if call center options are included as a free feature (if they are, this is a fantastic bonus), but there's a complete list on the DLS website.

DLS offers several optional modules that you can add on to the PBX engine, too. Since they're optional, you do have to pay for them, but here are the prices:

Unlimited Conference Bridges: $25
Faxing (E-Fax): $25
Predictive Dialer: $25 and 4¢ a minute
Call Recording: $25
New number: $5
Toll-Free minutes: 3¢

We bought this system for our business of 5 phones. However, we loved it so much, that we decided to start selling to others. We now are able to provide services of a full hosted PBX, with unlimited phone calls for a flat fee anywhere in the U.S. You can be a single user or multiple phones, and still take advantage of all the great features that this phone system has to offer and keep your phone bills under control. Your customers will never get a fast busy with this system. All calls will be answered all the time. If you are a large company, the system is very customizable to meet your needs. Have a single location or multiple locations, they all are connected to the same system. The list of features is large and growing every day. Cons I can't say there are really any cons, except deciding what you want to setup for the features. No worry, you can change your mind on the fly.

i was able to route calls to our 4 locations with ease. seems to do everything we need and more. allowed each person to consolidate voice mail. the ability to integrate with outlook, cell phones and land lines make it a dream come 1 for our firm. DLS is very in tune with our requests. DLS responds to our needs at every turn. I would highly recommend them to our clients and to my friends.

Pros really changed the way we use phones. fantasic features! cut my phone bill in half. it makes it very easy for our customers to get to the person they want to talk to with ease. they are constantly making upgrades and they seem to be based on what i have asked them to do over time.

Cons so many options, it is hard to figure out what you want to do, but once you do, you will love it.

My company, Thermosoft, began using DLS Hosted PBX in June of 2006. So far, I only have good things to say about both: their product and service. DLS has a professional team which helped us adopt the system and get through the hurdles of the change. To date they continue to educate us on use of new features and are quick to help us with varying configuration changes. I believe that upgrading our phone system to the DLS Hosted PBX was one of the best steps we took in improving employee productivity in the past 10 years. It significantly improved our customer service, increased productivity of our sales team with new follow-up options and made our life much easier. The software is very smart, it allows us control all the features via a computer or mobile phone from anywhere in the world. Kudos to DLS on their growth.

Pros Great customer service and technical support, smart and very sophisticated system, software updates almost every six months, very reliable PBX system ( I do not remember any down time during last 5 years).

Cons Price. I wish it would cost less...
