Now that my Qwest phone service is finally activated, it's great. Call quality is fantastic! Reliability is pretty good - I've had one dropped call and that was talking to a cell phone, so I'm not sure who's fault that was.
And now for the bad news: it took 3.5 weeks for my phone to be activated! Unbelievable, it's software, people! And I didn't even port a number over, I was assigned a number from Qwest. Honestly how hard is it to set up a new account? Luckily I hadn't cancelled my old voip service yet. Custer Service was fast and friendly, but can't really do anything about it other than to say "Phone activation can take up to 30 days." Oh, and 4 weeks after initial ordering I still can't set up my account online. Sure would like to do that...
Bottom line, Qwest is offering a pretty great voip service for a fantastic price IMO. But you'll have to be patient and wait about a month for activation. Is it worth the wait?

We just began qwest one flex plan and have basically had problems the whole time.  Most have been the typical startup problems, but the worst one is the poor voice quality.  We get significant calls with only one way audio (meaning you can hear the person on the other end but they can't hear you or vice versa).  Qwest at first seemed keen to fix this, but as of late is just giving the excuse that they cannot reproduce it well enough to fix it.  Obviously this is a deal killer, as our 'C' suite is almost embarrassed to answer their phones for fear of it being an important client.  I just don't think the Qwest techs know enough about this stuff to really get a system up and working...their debugging seems to be limited to just checking the router for any errors and they know nothing about the Cisco equipment.  I would go with someone else.

Qwest promises savings, but beware...your bill will not be correct, the prices will always be more than promised, customer service is terrible, coverage area stinks. I have nothing good to say about Qwest. It is a huge rip-off.

Servie was to be installed and operational by august 1.
T1 line installed about 2weeks late.
since then it has been a nightmare, phones are not ready, waiting on additional parts, wrong parts ordered, equipment needs to be configured. It has been one excuse after another as to why are system has not been installed.
it is now December, phones are now being installed. But wait there is more, ever since installation has started various people in the office and through VPN can no longer access our network and server.
The installers, while hard working and polite admitted that one had never done an installation like this and the other had only a little more experience. They spent a lot of time calling their tech support to do the installation.
Now I am paying a computer / network tech to resolve the other issues Qwest has created.
