I signed up for Telextreme and my cousin did as well -- she and her husband previously used SKYPE and they said that the Telextreme VOIP is MUCH better, no delay, no dropped call, video in real time. I prefer using Telextreme to using my cell phone -- the voices are much clearer.
It´s excelent the VOIP service oftelextreme. In reference to the Mexico Plus Plan, if you have people living in Mexico, you can gave him a regular mexican number among 15 cities and increase, and you answer the phone where ever you are around the world. telextreme.com/digitalcommuni Also, all the advantage that you have, the softphone, you can use it in your laptop-computer, and the voice is clear. Also the other´s plan are excellent, we should see our familiar and personal necessities. Spanish.
Was a Champion customer (they used Level 3 as their backbone) and life was good -- excellent actually. Nexboom took over, no more faxing, no more distinctive ring feature, no more good customer service, people complain to me that when they are ringing me the tone is disruptive, I have plenty of dropped calls now, level 1 tech support is awful, then sit in the que for level two tech support. From what I can disect, Nexboom has Nuvio provide their VoIP service, who contracts out to various backbone providers depending on circumstance. In summary I've put up with it long enough and am switching to Packet 8 as they use Level 3, Inc. for their backbone (like Champion did.)
I had service for years with Champion, no problems. Since the Nexboom switch, service quality is horrible, no fax either, and when I canceled service, they continued to charge me for months and finally, when they stopped, charged me a $19.99 disconnect fee after years of service. Please think hard before using nexboom.
