I administer a medium size VOIP environment comprised of 1200+ Cisco phones, various gateways type and typical TDM circuits, naturally the idea of utilizing SIP trunking was always at the back of my mind however a lot of homework needed to be done to effectively introduce the new service into a well established business environment to provide the expected cost savings and maintain traditional voice quality. We did choose GlobalPhone after an extensive research and evaluating process of many of the available products in the market, six month or so after the implementation of the service and we can’t be any happier with the service. Excellent product.
I have been a GlobalPhone customer for about 6 months. Their service has worked easily and very well. During setup and configuration, they were easily accessible by phone and email for help and handled the configuration themselves based on our input. I have used USLEC for the past 3 years. the connection is reliable. Their customer service is great! I only face an occasional long hold time. Their additional services are amazing. You can change your standard T1 over to a VoIP connection. They offer any type of hosting you could want, including system backups. We have multiple locations, so they offer MPLS virtual VPNs between all of our remote sites. Try calling any bell companies and get better support. It will not happen.
US LEC is without question the WORST company I've ever worked with when it comes to customer service. EVERYTIME I try and get help they always say that no one is available, will create a trouble ticket and will have someone call me back. Not once has anyone EVER called me back and the company I work for that uses them has been with them for 2 years. The last time I tried to get tech support they couldn't even find my account or web domain! They are the absolute worst.
