I administer a medium size VOIP environment comprised of 1200+ Cisco phones, various gateways type and typical TDM circuits, naturally the idea of utilizing SIP trunking was always at the back of my mind however a lot of homework needed to be done to effectively introduce the new service into a well established business environment to provide the expected cost savings and maintain traditional voice quality. We did choose GlobalPhone after an extensive research and evaluating process of many of the available products in the market, six month or so after the implementation of the service and we can’t be any happier with the service. Excellent product.
I have been a GlobalPhone customer for about 6 months. Their service has worked easily and very well. During setup and configuration, they were easily accessible by phone and email for help and handled the configuration themselves based on our input. Their rates are competitive and easily understandable without hidden costs. They also coordinated transfering our phone numbers and any other issues we had. - Erik Pelton (Erik M. Do not use this company - the company does not disclose all fees, auto renews with no email or reminder, will not refund money for yearly subscription after 30 days. Deceptive and does not show renewal date in your account anywhere. When I asked for the renewal communication they claim they sent, it has not been provided it. When I asked why the renewal terms and date are not posted in my account dashboard, subject was changed. When I asked for a refund, they said they can not refund the $437 they charged me for the year (not the $320 advertised on the solo package with no mention of fees, taxes, and other charges totaling an additional $117). So far they have not made this right. I will be reporting to my state attorney general, BBB, and everywhere I can.
Grasshopper has been a godsend for our small business. We are just 4 people, and it's an amazing phone system for our needs. Price point can't be beat, and the features and reliability is great.
