The Plantronics CS-55 Dect 6.0 Digital Wireless Office Headset is a more advanced headset model. It is meant for use in an office where high quality and long battery life. 

The Plantronics CS-55 Headset is a wireless device that clips to the user’s ear. The headset comes with a small selection of ear pieces of different sizes so that you can pick the one that is most comfortable for you. With a wireless headset, you can have greater mobility while talking on the phone, while still keeping your hands free. 

Because the Plantronics CS-55 Headset is wireless, you should have a pretty good range of mobility, but you are still limited to a range of about 300 feet from your phone. However, you can use the Plantronics CS-55 with a cell phone, in which case you will have complete mobility. 

You do have to keep the headset charged. It has a battery life of about 8 hours. You should also note that the Plantronics CS-55 is not compatible with a PC. It connects to telephones with a cable or audio processor. 

You can answer calls through your Plantronics CS-55 Headset, but you have to end calls with the associated handset. However, there is also a CS-55 model with a clip-on keypad that will give you a wider range and allow you to end calls remotely. 

The Plantronics CS-55 Dect 6.0 Digital Wireless Office Headset has great sound quality and external sound canceling technology.  It is a more costly digital headset, but it is of very high quality, and would be good for anyone who needs to use a digital headset regularly for business calls.
