The Cisco Unified IP Phone 7961G is a 6-line desktop IP phone. It is ideal for use in any office with a business VoIP system in place. It is especially useful for employees who will need to field a higher number of calls. The 7961G can be integrated easily into any VoIP system, and it is compatible with SIP capable IP PBXs.

The 7961G includes all of the standard features of the 7900 series like hearing aid compatibility and language settings for over 20 languages. The base can be adjusted to different angles or configured for wall mounting. The Cisco Unified IP Phone 7965G also has a 10/100 switch port and PoE (Power over Ethernet) capabilities. It also has a built in speakerphone and headset connection.

Unlike some of the phones in the 7900 series, the Cisco Unified IP Phone 7961G does not have a color display backlit screen. This means that the screen display is monochrome. It won’t display pictures, but it will display the standard features like date, time, and caller ID. This screen is your control panel for the phone, so some of the other 7900 phones have added in color screens to improve overall customer experience with the phone. However, the monochrome models are usually cheaper than the color screen models, so you are likely to save money without losing a lot of functionality.
