Phone.com | I highly recommend Phone.com 09/02/2010 - 03:16 | Both Virtual numbers and plug in devices for analog phones. All possible services are included at no extra charge. Customer service is available 24/7, they are all smart, articulate, and knowledgeable about the service. Rates are great, way better than Vonage. | Once in a blue moon, you have to reset your ATA device. Probably the result of TCP/IP problems with my internet provider. | I highly recommend phone.com to everyone I know who wants to save money on their landline service or who wants to appear to have a huge office full of professional people (vrtual office). The friendly folks out in San Diego are knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to understand. I really like this company and look forward to bragging about being one of their early adopters.
Broadvoice | VoIP.com: Don't use them 09/13/2010 - 04:11 | When it works, and it did work for three years, it's great. | They can't troubleshoot a problem. Two months ago, my phone stopped receiving inbound calls. I had them start a trouble ticket. Every few days, I would call back, and they'd have no new information, and wouldn't take the necessary steps to solve the problem. Eventually I decided to port the number to a provider whom I could trust (www.phone.com). Then the company voip.com was reselling, Global Crossing, blocked the porting by indicating that the number was no longer active. This has been a complete nightmare. | Don't use them. They are fine if you don't care whether your number works or not, but if there is a tough problem that needs some resources to solve, they won't do anything to get it resolved. They continue to bill me even though they aren't providing any inbound service. I can't even get them to forward the calls to a working number. This company is awful. I don't even understand how they can stay in business.
Phone.com | Phone.com is the best 09/13/2010 - 04:25 | This company is the best. 24/7 phone support. All kinds of advanced features. Ability to send calls anywhere anytime. Free adapters if you use the service for a while. Really friendly and intelligent support. I just love phone.com | Once in a blue moon, I have to reboot my router. Might be FIOS's fault. | I recommend www.phone.com to all my friends. They provide great service at a great price. I like the 24/7 support, the friendly customer service agents (who all are intelligent and articulate) and the loads of features. I try to use them all. The free mailboxes and ability to organize menus are a great way to make it sound like you have a big business. People are impressed when they call. I assure you that you won't be disappointed with these guys. |
