Magic Jack is ok as long as you don't need records from them to validate your payments nor you don't get caught up in one of their scams for extended payments for service. I renewwed last year the 4th of november. Well, the scam artists that I happend to be renewing my plan with did a great scam with me. He said if I renewed for 2 years he would send out a new unit to me. I explained to him several times I did not need a new unit, my unit worked just fine. He said no, no since I renewed on their special for 2 years this would be complimentary. Well, I looked for the unit, I had my daughter looking out for the package even my Postal carrier. NOPE,NO PACKAGE, I WAITED ABOUT 2 WEEKS AND CALLED MAGIC JACK BACK, I REVIEWED MY BANK STATEMENT AND CALLED THE BANK AND FILED A DISPUTE!! WELL MAGIC JACK TOLD MY BANK THEY MAILED THE UNIT, WHICH I NEVER RECEIVED AND MY BANK WOULD NOT GIVE ME A CREDIT. MY SERVICE HAS BEEN INTERRUPTED AND AFTER 45 MINUTES OF TALKING TO MAGIC JACK AND 4 PEOPLE AND TWO DISCONNECTS I AM NOW GOING TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND THE FCC! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM, I'VE HAD MAGIC JACK FOR ABOUT 6 YEARS NOW AND NEVER, EVER AGAIN WILL I RENEW MY SERVICE!!! REMEMBER IF YOU WHENYOUR INTERNET GOES OUT SO DOES THE SERVICE!! BETTER TO JUST STICK WITH YOUR CELLURAL PHONE!!! THAT IS MORE RELIABLE AND A REPUTABLE COMPANY!!!
