previous analog fax line forwarding to Ring Central
Posted on: Feb 01, 2013Service works extremely well for our fax needs--money well spent. Since the "sound quality" rating in this review is required, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt with five stars, as I presume they use their own system, and sound quality on support calls with them has been excellent.
Plans and admin interface are somewhat dumbed-down, making more clicks and screens than quick and direct user/line/service administration I'd prefer.
Rep was a pleasure to work with--she was able to use tools at hand to identify the nature of the issue and quickly move toward a solution. She consulted with a colleague for a few moments during the process, keeping the session on track, and then explained the proposed solution. Upon my approval, she implemented the solution, and from what I've experienced so far, the RingCentral portion of the issue is resolved--quickly, courteously, professionally and efficiently.

RingCentral - Our awakening of what a phone system should be.

We joined in the middle of a big upgrade, and although things went pretty smoothly, there have been a few hiccups - all with notification and resolve.
We have been with RingCentral since December 2012, and didn't know what we were missing with a phone service. No PBX maintenance, plug and play devices, softphone capabilities, faxing services, texting services, and a polite and responsive customer service department to boot! And even with the migration pains for ~60 lines, RingCentrals service and staff has shined. All issues (so far) have been acknowledged, passed to the appropriate people, and corrected. I have, and will continue to recommend RingCentral to friends, family, and business associates.
As always, excellent service, even with the massive changes you've been going through. Thanks as always.

We've used RingCentral for a few years, any time there is any issue (it's usually something related to our equipment not so much the service itself), we always find the staff there to be friendly and ready to help. Especially the small team that usually ends up with resolving things for us. I tell everyone who asks about how good the service is, well worth the price. Not just the customer service, though that is exceptional - but all the features and the actual working of the phone system, call quality and the various features and ability to customize everything for each user - outstanding!

Can't always pick up the forwarded calls and no indication of who the call is from - no caller ID
Your customer service representatives are very professional and take all the time we (customers) need to resolve the issue or answer any questions that we might have regarding the service. I greatly appreciate the patience and service that I have received whenever I have called Ring Central customer service. It is nice to have someone to walk you through the ring central process. It makes it much more comfortable to use.

RingCentral Fax and Customer Service - 5 Stars.
Posted on: Dec 12, 2012With RingCentral, I avoid the cost of a landline for the FAX, and the cost of buying, repairing, and ultimately replacing a FAX machine. The faxed documents are already in electronic form, so I save time that I would otherwise spend scanning documents in. This is a big step to a paperless office.
You have to empty the online inbox occassionally.
I only use RingCentral for faxing, so I can't address any other service they offer, but I doubt I will ever switch providers. I run a small law office, so being able to send and receive FAXes is critical. I originally signed up with RingCentral because of the price and convenience. Now I will never change. I had lost all of the original documentation and could not even log into my own account (which had never mattered before I had never had problems receiving faxes before). All I knew was the toll free number I had picked (and my name, or course). My problem was that one regular sender of faxes (a Court Coordinator) was not being able to get FAXes to go through. No one else was reporting problems. So I called customer service. The wonderful guy spent nearly two hours on the phone getting me back into my account and showing me how I could fix the problem that was causing problems (an over-full inbox). He was exceptionally courteous, polite, and patient. I had to put him on hold so I could talk to a walk-in client. He waited as if he had nothing else in the world to do. After I felt like the problem was resolved, he promised to call back the next afternoon to be sure it was working properly. And he did what he promised. The whole experience was a dramatic departure from what I expected, and indeed, exceeded all prior experiences with any customer service department. Thanks RingCentral. You really need to give that guy a raise!
However, this review site DOES NOT offer an N/A rating. I never use anything with sound, so I really have no clue about the sound quality. DO NOT RELY ON THIS RAVE REVIEW FOR SOUND QUALITY. It just pertains to RingCentral Fax and Customer Service.
