Pros
Down time comparable to other VOIP provides I've used (VONAGE in Canada). In short, it is almost never down.
Call management system is online and it's easy to review calls, I get voicemail in my email etc.
Very customizable call handling rules.
Since switching, I've never felt the need to look around for a better provider.
I was able to add a second line with all the great calling features and call handling features for less than I was paying to have just a line and a few features.
Cons
Old fashioned POTS (Bell landline) was more reliable -- honestly phone NEVER went down.
Setting up complex answering rules took a good bit of thinking and a bit of trial and error. Not too surprising since I actually handle individual callers differently and shuttle calls from extension to extension and number to number.
Let's face it, if I could list any real cons, I would have switched to a different provider long ago.

I have been a customer since March of 2010.

I started with RingCentral because of the flat cost for an toll-free number. I'm from Ontario and my only other option involved getting an 800 number from Bell and then praying that no one would call since I would be billed per minute. Of course, I WANTED people to call, but I was afraid of what the bill would be. Oh, and in addition to the cost to use the service, I paid a fee each month just to have the service.

Ring Central offered me the prospect of having the service for a flat fee that was about the same as I was paying Bell without also having to pay a usage fee.

In addition to this, I spoke with Ring Central reps who were willing to go thru contortions to allow me to use the US service (Ring Central was not in Canada yet) even though I was Canadian.

Over the time I've been with Ring Central I've grown very fond of the online system that allows me to track calls etc and modify my answering rules on a whim. I've even added a second line and been able to silence the phone after 9pm!

Have there been hiccups along the way? Sure. In each case Ring Central was professional and courteous. If I sound like quite the fanboy it's because although I know there have been issues (very few), I don't remember specifics, but I DO remember being happy with the outcomes.

Before Ring Central, I'd been with Bell, Rogers (land line) (local to Canada), and Vonage (VOIP) in Canada and finally Bell for 800 service.
