Phone Power: Two Major Outages
We switched our business to PhonePower about 7 months ago, and we've experienced poor sound quality along with two MAJOR outages. Both times they have had outages, PhonePower has had no phones themselves, no website, and no message to clients about the situation.... nothing.
This seems to be a business run out of someone's garage with a single server and with very, very poor reliability.
May 2nd outage
My home phone went down as well yesterday. I tried to restore the service by power down a few times without success. Then called their tech support to find out what is going on!?.
To my surprise , I got transfer to tech support without waiting eventhough I did expect some waiting time due to outage!?. I spent about 22min on my cell phone with tech support Jason and he resolve the issue. With this dos attack, my number had to be re-register.
So far, I'm satisfied with Phone Power performance and voice quality. I had Babytel viop provider for over 5yrs before, but they chose to no longer be competitive and over those years their system went down a few times or had voice quality issues.
