Cons: Horrible customer service (phone & email)
voice quality
Reviewed by: shts (xxx.xxx.148.4) Well i am a classic case of how you can turn one of your loyal customers to one of the most unsatisfied ones. I have been with Lingo for over a year. Initially i had a few issues with the number portability (took them clsoe to a month) to port the number. The price is great and that is the only good thing about it. The calls would drop more often than not and whenever called up their tech support was taken through a few steps and asked to check for next 24 hrs and call back. they have done whatever they could but the issue remains where it is. Billing department is even worse.Faced with a lot of billing errors, charged for calling up toll free numbers and when asked all i was told were that they are out of plan calls. everytime i called i spoke to a new rep who had no clue what the previous one had done, got different answers from each one of them. They were courteous but were never able to come up with the satisfactory reason why i was overcharged. fed up with the phone support. When i asked where were they located they said Manila. Thus i switched over to email thinking that i would get atleast some answers but guess what... they said that due to security reasons they cannot answer my questions and asked me to call customer service. another ordeal is to cancel the service. Called them up several times but it would only reach their voicemail and no one calls back. I have tspoken to the bank and cancelled my card so that they cannot take any more money from it. Got to know from some friends that they had filed for bankrputcy... no wonder with the kind of support staff they have over the phones and on emails i am pretty sure they must have gone bust. Does anyone know how can i get to their top management as i want to wake them up before its too late so that other customers do not go through the same pain and harasment that i have gone through. |
