Jive is Almost Perfect

Customer service hold time was long during the outage but has been very responsive otherwise.

Jive has great options and features for the price. Comparable services from a couple other business VoIP providers was almost double based on how they bill for users or additional lines. The porting of our numbers from AT&T went smoothly. We did experience one brief outage that resulted in a delay on calls connecting but it was quickly corrected.

Jive is the best

Ease of use. Quality of equipment. The professional sales people. Technical support is US based.
Cons
There is none.

This is an incredible system. I own a very expensive PBX system with one of my other companies and the Jive system beats every feature that my system has and more. Lets face it, even the most simple to use systems as Jive, will need some technical assistance. The support is quick, experience and most important American based. It is easy to get help and be up and running in no time flat! It is everything they promised and more.
Everyday I find a new aspect that makes the system more valuable.

Jive VOIP is excellent

Very easy. Nice people to work with.
Cons
Can't think of any.

This was a very easy purchase. The system is intuitive. I recommend it. We are a start-up company and it is affordable. I also like the fact that it is month-to-month. I don't like to think that my company may not survive, but if that happens, I'm will not be stuck with a long-term phone contract.

Jive offers a Pleasant Partnership

Pros
Going with Jive has allowed us customization to better meet our business needs. The sound quality is the same as our landline and the equipment is easy to use. I like the web interface for customization features and it's nice to be able to get a technician on the phone ( I can understand) to help me learn how to do things or troubleshoot issues.
Cons
The help menu for their web interface should offers how to's for customers learning the web interface. I did not know how to do something and had to talk to 2 techs to figure it out. The good part is the 1st tech emailed me to check in and said if I figured it out to let him know so he could learn as well!

Jive has made the transition process seamless and offers a good quality product. It is a learning curve for me but the customization makes it all worth it. The web interface is nice as it can be accessed from anywhere should we need to manage our phones remotely.

Jive has Outstanding Service

Pros
The technicians stayed on top of things and didn't quit until I had my issue resolved with "phantom ringing" in the middle of the night a couple times. Always polite and professional.When I called in the first time to find out more about the company and services offered I was completely satisfied with the patience, professionalism, and knowledge of my customer service rep, Jen. It was near "quitting time", but she was not in a hurry to end the call and stayed with me until I felt comfortable enough to sign up for service ( my decision, no pressure or hype) .
Cons

There is nothing I did not like about Jive. I can't think of one negative thing. I have recommended them to every business owner I know.

GetJive - The Company name tells you what to do!

I have yet to run into an issue that warrants being placed here.

My horror started long before I knew Jive was around. Our company moved into an office building, and on a very tight budget. We ended up getting a 25 year old, used ATT Merlin System for our phones. Bulky Clunky phones that didn't really provide any functions other then calling in and out. The administration for the system was horrible. And then the hunt began, I reviewed for months and months on different providers, and all of them were extremely insufficient, not knowledgeable in their product, or way too pushy of a sales person.

As our current phone system was going under, the pressure to get a new system was climbing. In the end I presented 3 options to my board none of which was Jive. Our middle of the road option was RingCentral, that made the most sense in features, price, etc...

My goal was to come in the next day and getting the ball rolling with RingCentral. For some reason I went home and ended up here on voipReview. And boy did my opinion change. RingCentral had some pretty bad reviews. And my judgment shifted to look for another provider, and I came across Jive, read the reviews and began checking them out.

I initiated a chat with Jen, one of Jive's sales reps. There wasn't a question I asked that she couldn't have answered. I spoke with Jen over the next 24 hours and had my mind set on getting Jive for our company. I made my presentation the next afternoon, got the approval and begin the process.

The setup could not have been any easier. I had a kickoff call with a Jive Rep that walked me through my system explained everything and how all the features work. Again, I couldn't ask any question that he didn't have an answer to.

Our phones came on a Wednesday at 2PM. I had 15 phone lines to switch from our current system over to the new system. I had the entire system, up and running by 6PM. Our phone system was completely switched over to Jive in less then 4 hours. This also included 2 phones which were remotely located outside of our office, and never connected to interoffice dialing before Jive.

To wrap up this long review, in a nutshell Jive has been amazing, I look forward to our future. If your still reading this review, go GETJIVE!

When I originally started my search for a VOIP Service Provider I knew nothing about Voip Service. I needed 10 lines and 10 phones and I researched online a ton and called several of the providers. ex: Nextiva, 8x8, Ring Central etc. I really felt very pressured and like I was dealing with a used car salesman every time. I ultimately ended up going with Ring Central, mostly because I was under pressure to get something going and I felt like I was choosing between the lesser of the evils, honestly. I was told there was a 30 day satisfaction guarantee so I felt like I had nothing to really lose. I had spoke with the rep from Ring Central several times before I chose to go with them and he had called me several times to pressure me into signing up. Every time I called him before I actually signed up he answered right away. Once I signed up & had given him my credit card details the nightmare began. I was unable to reach him after that, I left messages and he did not return my calls. He told me my credit card would be charged $4000 but he promised me $2000 would be credited back to my credit card for signing up for the 10 lines and purchasing the phones. The credits did not show up and there was no explanation. The phones came and we tried to get everything set up and the tech support was awful. They didn't even have a lot of the services that our rep had promised. Just about everytime I called I ended up talking to someone that I couldn't understand and who couldn't understand me in India. I decided to cancel my service & send all of the phones back but now I had to find a different provider. Just as I was getting sick of all of the sales crap from all of the different providers out there I came across Jive. I initiated an online chat with a rep named Candace and then decided to get more information by calling. I suddenly felt my anxiety lifted as my questions got answered and the solutions to my problems were being answered. My rep was very friendly and knowledgable about the Jive service and the phones that they had to offer. She didn't pressure me at all, she only answered my questions and offered solutions that she could provide. After speaking with Candace and going over everything that our business needed in a Voip service I felt confident that I had found the right provider. I gave her my credit card details and placed my order and have never looked back. My phones came pre-configured and ready to go. Jive service is everything I hoped it would be. The phones that my rep reccomended are fantastic, the service is great, every time I have needed to call for answers to questions or for tech support I have spoke with a rep in the U.S. who is knowledgable and friendly (they even send follow up emails). I can't rave enough about how happy and relieved I am to have found a great VOIP provider that actually does what they say they are going to do. I am glad that I got away from Ring Central and I urge anyone to not listen to any of their own hype about how great they are because they are the WORST company that I have ever had to deal with!!!! And I am completely confident that anyone who tries it will absolutely regret it! Jive lives up to their promises and I can't imagine anyone being anything but completely happy with them!

Jive Communications Review

Great customer service, friendly staff, fast and knowledgeable to troubleshooting any issues. The dial plan is very user friendly and makes it easy to make changes as employment changes.
Cons
We have had difficulties with our phone cutting in and out due to high amounts of jitter. It has been difficult to deal with that because our internet service provider never has a clear answer as to why the issues are occurring.

Jive has been great to work with. Everyone that we have encountered from sales and customer service to their tech support has been very friendly and ready to help. Everyone seems very knowledgeable in their field and make troubleshooting a breeze. I cannot say enough about the friendliness of the staff...whatever model corporate has set for their employees is incredible. Keep up the great work!

Getjive.com, It says it all- GET JIVE!!

Their ability and willingness to help with ANYTHING sets them apart from the competition.
Cons
The employees are so smart and good at what they do they almost make you feel like a half-wit for wasting your whole morning trying to figure something out that takes one of the employees at JIVE two seconds to fix. That's not really a CON, but it's nearly impossible to think of anything.

As a start-up business, JIVE has been there with us since day one. I've grown quite fond of the employees- highly-qualified, helpful, resourceful, professional, reliable- what is there not to love? The customer service is outstanding and it doesn't just stay within the customer service department. The whole company demonstrates exceptional client service skills. No problem is too big for the JIVE Communications team.

Great Customer Service

JIVE is easy to set up and use. Flexibility for everyone since you can take your phone anywhere and work if you have an internet connection. Excellent support.
Cons
There are times (infrequent) that calls get lost in a black hole, customers cannot leave a message and the call does not roll to the extension. If a call is on hold and another all comes in, it pushes the "hold" call to the back and you cannot access it until the new call is answered.

When you have a relationship with a vendor that reflects your business it is important to have excellent service and support, as JIVE does. JIVE is easy to set up and whenever we have technical issues, JIVE is readily available to assist us. All of our employees may call and ask for help. We had a very difficult and strange problem and JIVE worked with our employee until it was resolved. It was actually in the phone circuit board but JIVE figured it out. This reasonably priced system allows our company to have many employees work from home yet maintain our branding and inter-connectivity. Periodically, there is static or lost calls and we want JIVE to "fix" it immediately----however we have learned it is usually the internet connection which is failing not JIVE system. JIVE might recommend updating a modem and recently determined that I didn't have a permanent IP address attached to my phone, thereby causing minor issues. Their excellent technicians solved it. A very nice company to work with.
