schlitzie says: As a refugee from the debacle that is Verizon VoiceWing, VoipYourLife is significantly better. But there were several initial screw ups on their part that resulted in me waiting five weeks to get the adapter and then get my number ported, so that part was rough going.Service has been pretty good, and I am happy that they give me more control over the features than voicewing did (e.g., I can turn their voicemail on or off, allowing my answering machine to do the work instead of their system). The one thing that is fairly aggravating is the 18 second delay that occurs when you finish dialing until their system begins to connect the call. Tech support says there is nothing they can do, and directed me to push the # button each time I dial. Seems like a simple solution, but in practice it is a real PITA to do on every call for something that should be easily fixable with some software adjustments. This might seem like a minor issue, but try it every time you dial a number -- gets old really fast! |
