I moved my small business of 12 phones to them two months ago and I have had a great experience. Their customer service helped us with a seamless install and transition and the phone quality has been superb. We have new polycom 550 phones and the hi def sound is great. Best of all is our overall telecom costs have gone down by almost half.

I was a bit nervous before I took the plunge into VoIP from my local telephone company, but I am glad I did because the service has been great and the features are wonderful. We installed 15 extensions and it went seamlessly as we just plugged them in and they worked. If you want to save money and get more features to help your business than I recommend this company,

Contrary to most of the user comments, our experience with tech support was extraordinary. We did have MAJOR voice problems and they tried like the dickens to fix it. It REALLY was the connection, not them. I did a trace route on the connection and Level3 in San Jose is the problem...probably for most users that is where the problem is since that is the last hop before it goes to their server. Features and price was great, the real problem

We've been using Pakcet8 at ramwebsolutions.com for over 1 year and we love it. It enabled us to move from an office space to working from home. The service is clear and just as reliable as "regular" phone service

Great service in every way, but Comcast is offering Voip for lower price in my area. I'm willing to pay a little more for Packet8 right now since it works so well.
Setting up our Comcast router to prioritize VOIP traffic was a bit troublesome. If you can't fine tune your router, you may be out of luck with this service. Their customer service is helpful with this.

Packet8 was the lower cost solution to our needs. Phone systems for traditional phones lines are expensive, but the Packet8 VOIP service is scaleable as we grow with no technicians required to set up. Great example was when I moved my company to a new office -- all we did was set up the DSL on our computer network and the phones worked immediately. Also great for remote employees working from home who are just another extension in your office no matter where they are geographically -- and you can have them billed directly for their extensions.
