Great pricing.  We used to use another provider which charged us a seemingly nice flat rate for each extension.  But, we were unhappy with the reliability.  When we shopped around, we were happy to find Onsip which has a pay as you go model. We had polycom phone already so switching to them was easy.  They had docs to help us configure the phones straight away. Six months later, we are very happy with the reliability and the ability to make changes like adding users, whenever we want to.    It's very easy to manage and we don't have to wait for them to do things ( our old provider made us fill out a form and fax it in when we wanted to add new users). Highly recommended for a company with 10 or so people like us.Thanks Onsip.

Sip Junction

Pros:

I set up our Hosted PBX for the first time in about 30 minutes, including an auto-attendant and a 1-800 number. Everything was immediately accessible from the web interface. As I continued to work on our phone system, I found the Junction Networks provided the vast majority of all the functionality I needed. On an ongoing basis, whenever we hire somebody, I can perform the necessary actions in about 10 minutes, again all from the web interface. The charge-per-use-not-per-seat policy fits our company well, given that  not all employees use the phone the same amount.

Cons:

The web interface is very object-oriented in the sense that it gives
equal and immediate access to the details of all objects ("Voicemail
boxes," "Extensions," "VOIP addresses," "Users," "DIDs,"
Auto-attendants," etc.) This may or may not be confusing for first-time
administrators, but a deeper problem is that it makes common multi-step tasks take longer even for experienced admins.

Junction has addressed this issue for some tasks, like creating a voicemail box and an extension automatically when you create a user. Still, this doesn't address custom setup procedures and adding multiple users at the same time. I'd like to see a textarea-based approach to this, much like the admin interface of Mailtrust (an email provider).

For almost two years with Junction Networks, I have been able to "set it and forget it," while delivering the service quality and price that my colleagues expect.

We started using the Junction Network/OnSip VOIP in our Chicago office.  We were very happy with the realibility and customer service that we rolled out the system to the rest of our offices less than 3 months after converting.Everyone that we worked with at Junction Network/OnSip made the transition very easy and seemless.

Pros:

Totally flexible system allows us to add users in many offices around the country really easily.  They don't charge for users or phones so adding a home phone or phones in another office really cost nothing.

Pricing is by far the best we found.  We spend about 1/2 of what we were paying with another voip provider.

No contracts made us feel comfortable that we wouldn't be stuck if we had a problem.  With our former provider, we had to fight our way out of a long term contract.

Very helpful tech support and help files.

Use any IP phones is nice.

Cons:

Not much. We were a bit concerned that the pay as you go pricing may end up being more expensive.  they told us we would not spend nearly as much and they were correct, so it wasn't a big deal.  We were previously paying $40 per phone no matter if it was used often or not.  Now, we have tons of phones all over the place, and we only pay for the calls we make.  It is far cheaper.

We found OnSIP after an extensive search followed by a failed attempt with another provider.  If we had known about OnSIP, we would have used then at first, hands down.  The service is the most open and flexible of them all.  Essentially, OnSIP is liking having your own $50,000 PBX with all the benefits of it being hosted virtually.

The pricing is almost hard to believe it is so cheap. We are believers! Thank you OnSIP.
