Tax Refund

My brother sent me an email with this. Hope it's helpful to you all!

As someone who has undergone training in professional tax preparation and appreciates (feel free to substitute the word "loathes") the complexity of Income Tax Filing, I am all for any legal means of recovering said income.

Essentially, the refund in question concerns the Telephone Excise Tax. I won't go into great detail, but basically this is a one-time refund (for 2006 returns) that should be pertinent to anyone who has had a long-distance or bundled-service phone plan during the years 2003-2006.
