Major Static---Dropped Calls

I have had phone power for a business phone line for about 9 months. About 4 months ago I noticed that about 25% to 40% of the calls coming in would have bursts of static during the call. Then, after about 10 to 40 seconds, the call would get dropped. It only happens only on inbound calls and not outgoing. It also happens on just as much (bad?) whenever I forward the calls to ANY other phone, cell or landline. I have called Phone Power's support several times about this and they either want me to troubleshoot my "Grand Stream" modem (reset etc. has no effect) or they claim it is my hardware (phones).

The falacy in those ideas is that if it were the modem, then why would it do it just as much on forwarded calls?

If it is the hardware why would it do it on all types of phones that I forward it to AND why wouldn't it do it on all inbound calls AND why would it NOT do it on outbound calls (never has)?

 

Very disappointed!!! Can't wait to navigate away from this company.
