Maybe it depends on the local phone company

Haven't had it very long.

Calls to/from magicJack and my cell phone - sound is good and all features work fine.

Calls to/form my local phone company (Embarq) - sound is very jerky and some features work intermittently.

So maybe it's dependent on the local phone company.
