Snappy Fax and VOIP

I fax via my computer, and upgraded to Vista only to find out I couldn't fax with the new version. THEN I found Snappy Fax, which seemed the answer to my prayers until...I discovered that it wouldn't work reliably, if at all, with VOIP. I lowered the baud rate and got one through a few minutes ago, but the next...no way. I don't even know HOW to turn off "ECM," if the program has it. Any suggestions? Better software? Anything I can try?

I've heard only that there are some problems with fax and voip...it can be supported, but that it's usually not 'guaranteed' by the provider. You may try calling a Voip Provider from this site, and talk with their tech support people? Anyone else know about this?

Maybe because of the gateway or other hardward, there are two fax protocol T.38 and passing throught. you should make sure if the hardware support your fax.
