It's obvious with all the anyomous post here that a hack job is being organized here. My companies Law firm is on the system and suffered, but wen't back to law when it came back up. It's obvious someone is behind this and centricvoice should findout who.
They would have support from most of there clients. I have spoken to Mr. Rothell, and the truth is all I got, and on this site we have people making assumptions, and it looks like either competitors or disgruntled ex-employees to me. Only myself and one other person left a name, and that says alot.
I recommend you call Mr. Rothell yourself, or go to his office in Dallas, as I've found him easy to reach you just need to call ahead of time.

Re: Nice Hack Job
Tue, 05/20/2008 - 15:04 — ArchivesHi bsanders. Yeah, it does seem like there are a lot of disgruntled people leaving posts about centric (and a few other providers on here too). If they aren't competitors or ex-employees, as you suggest, they're people who haven't left good posts. I understand the frustration of those posters, if they are legitamate, but when they don't state things in a proper and orderly manner and the post is just filled with anger or hateful comments towards the provider, I usually 'throw' that persons advice right 'out of the window.' Sort of along the same line as the old adage "People won't really care what you know until they know about how much you care." I wish more folks would voice their concerns in a more patient manner. So many unthoughtful, sloppy, posts out there, sadly. Anyway, how long have you been using CentricVoice for? And what broadband connection do you have? If you haven't guessed, I'm checking out my alternatives. Bye for now, Jeff.

Tue, 05/20/2008 - 15:04 — ArchivesI can assure, it is no hack job, and I have my own law firm that uses these guys (unfortunately). Centricvoice / ONIT has provided as horrible service as I could have ever imagined starting when Centric Voice took over on Jan 1, 2008. I've had service go down at least 4 times this year for days at a time (the first time was over a week.) I've had clients show up at my door to see if I was still in business! I've had guys out here 4 times, and they've never gotten our set up right - certain phones won't ring, certain lines connected to wrong offices, etc. (I only have 4 phones w/ 3 lines.) When I do have service, the services are messed up (ie: no call fowarding, voicemail doesn't work properly, 8 rings before going to messed up voicemail, etc.). I've been trying to resolve it for at least 2 months calling just about every day - for awhile (2 weeks) I did get to talk to someone who assured be it would be fixed, but since then, all I get is their voicemail and no one calls back. It is just plain unacceptable. Avoid these guys like the plague. I've tried switching services, but there were difficulties with that too.
