Comcast Cable slows down over wireless router - Why?
I have comcast cable connection with fast upload/download speeds when connected by ethernet cable but the speeds slow down dramatically when using my wireless router and laptop. Not sure why is slows down so much. I took the voip speed test and got these results. How does that compare to your results without the wireless router? Can you post those? It looks like you still support 6 lines so something is good about your connection. Have you tried setting your router on another channel? Maybe it is interfering with something. The 2.4ghz range is unlicensed spectrum so it very well could be.
